The first difference is that the players get four hidden cards each and must use two of them and three of community cards to create their poker hands. One more peculiarity of Omaha is that the players are not able to play the board.

Caribbean Stud Rules

After this poker variant was tried as the experimental card game it turned out to be so successful that most card rooms started to offer it. According to the poker betting rule the poker players first place the ante and get five cards each from the common 52 cards deck. The dealer also gets five cards one of which is exposed. Then the gamblers should decide whether to leave or continue the game. If you choose to continue you are to call the bet by placing the amount equal to the ante bet. The dealer turns over his or her cards. If he or she qualifies (has Ace and King or better) the hands are compared. Otherwise the gamblers are paid out.
